Hy-Tech has purchased two track mills for use in our shop. The installation of these machines will increase our capabilities and decrease our production times.

We are moving forward with our building plans. We have cleared the property and look to break ground as soon as we have the plans worked out.

Horizontal Boring Mills

We are preparing for the rebuild of two large table type mills. These are both exciting projects because their completion will bring our ability to handle large piece work to a new level.

LUCAS Horizontal Boring Mill

120" Travel in X Axis

80" Travel in Y Axis

48" Travel in Z Axis

This machine is inoperable and needs to be completely rewired. We will also be updating it with a modern CNC Controller.

Gray Horizontal Boring Mill

20' Travel in X Axis

10' Travel in Y Axis

12' Travel in Z Axis

This is not a big project for us, but is as a big machine. This mill is partially disassembled and space is being cleared for further breakdown. This machine will be setup at the new facility.

These machines will be laser aligned to insure that all axes are square, the table is flat and level, the column is square to the table, and the quill is running true and parallel to the table. Should anything be off, fixing these problems is one of the many things we do. Learn more about our laser alignment services.
